What's the schedule?
- 18:30 Check-in opens, light refreshments
- 19:00 Welcome from our MC Ta-Wei Wang (Day 1) and opening remarks from Colin
- Fireside chat with Nir Eyal and Colin Hodge, moderated by Jenny Hsu (Day 2 Coaching), then audience Q&A
- Networking and book signing until 21:00
What language is the talk in?
English. Real-time Chinese translation will be available on the night.
How do I ask Nir and Colin a question?
Scan the QR code on the event screen, or open the Q&A section in the event mini app, and send your question in English or Chinese.
Will there be photos and video?
Yes. The evening will be photographed and filmed, and some of it may be shared on social media.
If you'd prefer not to appear, let a staff member at check-in know.
02 /Tickets
Where do I find my ticket, or buy one?
All tickets are sold and managed by our co-host, Day 1 Coworking, on the official event page. Online registration is open until midnight on 5 November, Taipei time.
I have a problem or question about my ticket. Who do I contact?
Please contact Day 1 directly through the Contact link on the event page. That includes changing a name, upgrading to Premium, adding the KTV after-party, refunds, receipts and promo codes. Day 1 runs registration, so they can fix it fastest.
What do I need to bring to check in?
Your registration confirmation QR from Day 1. Check-in opens at 18:30 at the 1F Lecture Hall entrance.

Who gets a guaranteed signed book?
- Premium (paid or with a promo code)
- Guaranteed signed book, plus a bonus second one. You get Colin's Outrageous Startup Growth and your choice of Nir's Beyond Belief (English) or 《專注力協定》 (Chinese).
- Sponsor guests
- Signed book pairs as included in your sponsor package.
- Partner reserved seats
- No guaranteed book, but you're entered in the giveaway draw for a signed book.
- Standard seats
- No guaranteed book, but you're entered in the giveaway draw for a signed book.
How do I claim my book?
Come to the book signing desk after the fireside chat and Q&A end, during the networking time. Show your ticket or bookmark, pick your Nir title if you have a Premium ticket, and both authors will sign.
Books are only handed out at the desk, not at check-in.
How does the giveaway draw work?
We'll explain it from the stage on the night. Winners collect their book at the same signing desk.
04 /VIP events
What are the VIP events?
There are two, both with Nir and Colin:
- VIP roundtable, 17:30 to 18:45 before the fireside chat. A small, closed-door conversation of about 20 people.
- KTV after-party, from 21:30 to midnight, at a karaoke venue nearby.
Who can attend?
Both are invitation only. Seats go to our VIP sponsors, selected Premium ticket guests, and guests of our promotional partners.
KTV add-on ticket holders are also welcome at the after-party.
How will I know if I'm invited?
The team will contact you directly with the time and location. If you haven't heard from us, you're warmly invited to the main event and networking, which is where most of the evening happens.
How do I get into the VIP events next time?
Contact us about becoming a partner, either through sponsorship or other contributions. We first reward community members who contribute to making a successful event.
